Fast rising Swedish pop singer/songwriter Nova Miller will be releasing her eagerly anticipated debut EP ‘Yellow’ this Friday (June 1st). The record features breakout single “Turn Up The Fire” which has garnered over 2M views on YouTube so far!
And in the lead up to the records’ release, Miller has been releasing mash-up videos every Wednesday. The mash-up videos see the singer performing a few of favourite songs from her EP.
And today the BMG Records artist has released the mash-up video of herself performing ‘Plastic x ‘Too Good’. Speaking about the reason behind mixing these two tracks together, Nova Miller says: “So Plastic came to be because I had this idea that I wanted to write a pop song with a “Bossanova inspired beat”. We started playing around with the idea in the studio and the song basically wrote itself. At the time I had just cut a person out of my life, so that inspired me to write about how to move on from negative energy. I thought of mashing it together with “Too Good” because I think both songs have that constant beat throughout the whole song that just makes you wanna dance and listen to it over and over again. They also both talk about a pretty serious and relevant topic, how you’re not being treated the right way by someone that means a lot to you.
Nova also discusses her ‘Yellow’ EP saying: “I am SO excited to finally be able to release a body of work and really show people what I’ve been working on. I’ve put so much into this EP and it’s very personal. I hope that sharing my experiences can help other people that don’t know how to put their feelings into words. I am grateful for every single listener and this is only the beginning!!!”
